They said let go, but I didn't know, Oh I didn't know how & that only made it worse. Soon Blessed turned into cursed.
Always grasping & grasping, but I never had a grip. It came slow, but ended quick for me. (for me)
They told me what to do & they told me what to say. They did their best to show me the right way, but I was stubborn, I was blind & I just didn't take the time; to remember to be wise. Oh I wish I would have taken their advice, all of those who ever cared or looked out for me. Oh I wish I would have taken their advice & stopped.
Trying to control what cannot be controlled only made me realize I have to let go. I know this happened for a reason that I still can't understand, but in this change of season I know I can withstand.
& I know you can withstand it to, whatever you may be facing & whatever is to come.
So don't you be afraid. Trust me it wont get you anywhere. It only battles with your reason & it never fights fair. So Just hold on for a second & try to care for these words. Don't make the same mistake as me. Let it go & let it be.
